Menstrual Cup Sizes

Because no two vaginas are the same, Fialuna has three different size menstrual cups to choose from. If you are new to menstrual cups, the first thing you'll be wondering is: what size to do I need? To help you choose, we've created a quiz to help you find the right size.

Take Fialuna's Menstrual Cup Size Quiz.

Since no two vagina's are the same, working out what size menstrual cup you need isn't always easy. We call our sizes guidelines because they are just that - a guide not a guarantee. If you are struggling with choosing a size, please email us a and we will be happy to provide tailored advice.

When choosing a size, you'll need to start with what length you need (i.e. how high up your vaginal canal does your cervix sit?). To measure your cervix height, first wash your hands thoroughly. Then, insert one finger inside your vagina until you can feel your cervix. It will feel different to the vaginal wall and is often described as feeling a bit like the tip of your nose.

Half or more of your finger fits = Mid Height Cup
Half or less of your finger fits = Mini Cup
Our mid height cups come in size mid 1 or size mid 2. Choose size mid 1 if you are under 30 and have never given birth (vaginally or C-section). Choose size 2 if you are over 30 and/or you have given birth (either vaginally or by c-section). Having said that, if you are physically active and/or know you have a strong pelvic floor, a mid 1 may be more suitable regardless.
